Sustainability is in our DNA. Our avocados are grown by local vertically integrated orchards in Michoacán, México, following sustainable agricultural practices. Beautiful exuberant green mountains, abundant sunshine, rich volcanic soil packed with minerals, and a favorable rain pattern provide the ideal conditions for the avocado trees to bear the most delicious and nutritious fruits.

These local growers are key to the conservation of the native avocado species, which can be understood as the avocado trees that have evolved in that region and are expertly adapted and equipped to live in their homeland.

This means native avocado trees have a more efficient nutrient absorption, can grow with less water, and have a higher resistance to pests and pathogens, resulting in a positive economic impact.

In some of these family operated 30-year-old farms, state-of-the-art irrigation systems have been implemented to optimize water usage, many have shifted to natural pest control and also are raising bees as pollinators for their crops.

Sustainable by nature

Our Extra Virgin Ultra Premium Avocado Oil is sustainable by nature, it is carbon-neutral, solely obtained from the flesh of ripe avocados only by centrifugal force applied to the kneaded avocado flesh at low temperature without absolutely anything else added during or after the extraction process. It is a straight forward low energy mechanical extraction system that does not require any high energy refining or pretreatments such as drying and pressing.
